Uninstall Sims help

I need help uninstalling the Sims game + expansion packs on my kids computer. I ran a defrag on it and it had a lot of fragmented files, all in the Sims games. I went to uninstall all of them but they were not there to uninstall. I did a search for them and found that my daughter had installed them in her "documents and settings" I think. XP Pro.

How do I get them to uninstall so I can load them again. BTW, I didn't know that you have to install the expansion packs in a certain order. This all came about because the game was crashing to desktop.

yes they should be installed in a specific order.

List out the versions that you have and maybe we can figure out the order

They may all be able to be uninstalled just by uninstall the Sims since they're all tied together.

I have tried add/remove programs from the control panel. I did try lowering the resolution and video acceleration, didn't work.

I know the right order that they are supposed to be installed, from the website.

It's not under EA games but it is by EA. It does have a file name of Maxim but it shows '(empty)' in the program files.

Try downloading the trial version of jv16 PowerTools it has some great program/registry tools that can go in and get those pesky leftover program files.

Isn't there something you can type in XP to show you more hidden programs to uninstall?
