Karoke CDs

anyone know the format that these use? They will play in my standalone DVD,and the words play on the TV.I get only a CDA extension in the PC though.I don't have a DVD drive in the PC.
Is there a plugin,or software that will allow me to play and watch these on my PC?

Thanks
