eebeabeabb ? is that a Virus?

I got an email from someone I've never heard of. The email said, "Everything inside the attach". Title, "Well...". It had an attatched file, "eebeabeabb.zip". Does anyone know if this is a virus.

BTW, what's a good free anti virus, if there are any. I'm going to go buy McAfree if not.

moved to the proper area

with a title like that, the likelyhood of it being a virus is pretty large.

just to be on the safe side just delete it

You obviously have no clue what it is, it should be deleted immediately!

Agreed with paul9, I use grisoft AVG myself

signs of insanity:- talking to yourself (and receiving reasonable sounding replies)

hairs on the palms of your hands (and checking for the same)

agreeing with paul9

opening email attachments you didn't ask for (especially from addresses you don't know)

using outlook express for your email (at the very least, get a yahoo account you don't give out, and set it up to check your pop3 mail. you can use it from any computer and it will scan attachments for nasties)
