Flash MOUSE Card Reader

I found this in my daily web travels and found it to be quite the interesting device!
for those not wishing to follow the link I provided (you know who you are) it's a mouse with a compact flash (or compatible flash device) reader built into it! remove the little cover on the "palm" rest of the mouse, and insert the card!
I don't have this, so cannot provide any review of the product, but I thought "wow, neat!" when I saw it. finally, a device which doesn't hog one of your precious usb ports, while using the dual-purpose device.
the product description:
Features:
Integration of optical mouse and card reader/writer.
compatible with Win98, 98SE, 2000, ME and XP.
USB 1.1 compatible.
Work on most surfaces-no mouse pad required.
Superior precision and smooth operation.

here's the product image

anyone out there actually have one of these doobers? how well does it work? I'd be interested in getting one for my 'rents...they're puter illiterate and anything that simplifies the process ("ohh, it's a part of the mouse") would be helpful.

That's pretty sweet. My kids would lose the cover.

Only problem for the 'puter illiterate is that they'd start prying the lids off other mice thinking they could do the same
