How Can I Find Out What Ports Are Open

I have a lynksys Model BEFW11s4 and i wanna know what ports are open on it so i can send and receive files through different applications i guess this question will help me more than the other one i asked thanx and sorry guys im a newbie

well, i know that only a few ports are open on lynksys routers... but your question is a little out there, for what would you need to open ports for?

more likely you will need to find out what ports the application uses, then forward the correct ports from the router to the pc that will be doing the file transfer.

If you mean on the router itself, I believe you check the Dynamic Forwarding Tab under Advanced. Of course you need to logon to your router first.
