Best Shop for me in the UK

Hi, i really want a site thats good to buy comp stuff on. It seems that any site like money wayyyy to much. Can i just take this moment to say that you americans are reeeaaal lucky in getting stuff since its usually 2/3-1/2 the price it is here in the UK.

Anyway i was wondering if anyone had some good, cheap sites for the uk. I dont mind about tecchy support or how long i have to wait, just as long as its cheap .

Thanks

Andy

http://www.scan.co.uk/
Also check out http://www.scan.co.uk/todayonly/

You can search for the cheapest supplier at:
www.pcindex.co.uk

http://www.cclcomputers.biz have always been good for me (but I only live 10 minutes away)

I've bought from Aria without problems, returned 2 faulty items and they were replaced with upgrades.

Had problems with returning items to ebuyer, the process is non too easy to follow, I did get replacement item eventually (but I had to purchase the item from elsewhere due to the length of time it took )

www.simply.co.uk
www.dabs.com

I have never used simply but I have had no trouble fro either of the other 2 above. I have also used scan and they are a good company.

sure why dont you go down to your local pc world or curry's, heck even dixons, I'll bet they have some good deals

'ave a word!

Oh and everything is 2/3rds cheaper in the states. Companies ignore the exchange rate completely and just charge whatever they want. Get used to it

Custom & Excise will add 17.5 per cent on top of the cost of the products and its delivery.

Moreover, some components (a few) will not be compatible for the UK or will make it difficult to return if problems arise.

Your best choice is to use www.microdirect..co.uk and check under “Offers” but generally their prices are one of the cheapest when delivery is also taken in to consideration.

I tend to nowadays shop across Microdirect and www.ebuyer.com.

The other guys here have already posted my other online retailers.
