I downloaded Knoppix 3.3 in an .iso file and need to know exactly how to successfully burn to CD.I have tried twice, but I think I am missing a couple of steps.Do I change the file or what?Any help will be appreciated. Thanks tbt

I use NTI CD Maker Pro and from the menu you simply select "burn from ISO image" and direct it to the ISO. If it is not working maybe your download is bad?

Used Nero first then InCD then Windows. All three supposed sucessful burns. They don't work.I do question the download.I just thought I had to change the file extension or ????.I am kind of lost on this.I needed a newer version of Knoppix to use on my nForce2 boards as the previous version will not recognize my onboard LAN.

The only time I have ever done that was with .shn files.Never thought of it actually.Makes sense cause of the file size.At work now, will expore that an the above links provided in earlier posting. Thanks for all the responses.I really think I am missing something here.I have an an earlier distro and have copied it several times.

I think you must burn the cd from the ISO, not open the ISO and copy the files to a cd or else the cd won't be bootable. BUT if you want to see the contents of the ISO try WinISO.
