Help! Broke My Comp?

I took out my sound card while my computer was on. Suddenly it froze and I had to turn it on manually. Now it starts, but there is no signal to the monitor. My (wireless mouse) doesn't get any signal and computer doesn't turn off unless I hold the power button in for 5 secs. What in the world could have happened? Did i fry my processor or memory or something? Please help and thanks in advance.

possibly fried some stuff on the motherboard... nevvvver unplug/plug in anything electrical when a computer is on! you might want to try taking a voltage meter and testing areas of the motherboard. what happens when you turn on the computer?

Most likely fried in a few different places. You can try swapping the parts to another compatible system to see what might be salvageable. Might want to start researching mobos and processor deals. Sorry.

Well I ran setup and my comp fired up and ran windows and stuff. So should I do anything to make sure my CPU is ok now?

You did check to make sure the CPU fan is working - right?

If you can get into the BIOS see what temp your CPU is running at.
