God.. why is it alway me who is on?! Aren't there another hard core gamer around here?!? If so.. please stat them selves and their favorite game.

Hard core gamers? This is more of a tech forum, unfortunately. It didnt help that our grand owner decided to take all the games forums and combine them into one. IMO, DUMB MOVE!!! Its crazy trying to help someone with battlefield when you have to scroll through all these RPG threads.

I'm oblivious to the type of game, and can pick up on any fairly quickly. Given the option, I'll play BF 1942, CS, UT03-04, MOHAA, and CoD.

Heh. I didn't even notice all the gaming forums were recently combined. I think it was a great move. Now if I have gaming questions I'll know where to go instead of wondering which of these obscure not-very-active game forums do I post in? After all, as you said, this is a TECH forum.

lol, yeah... you guys should make 3 more "section" for the General Gaming Discussion, RPG, Action, and... uh? I dont know!! Anyway.. finally!! i got my 51st post!! or is it 52nd? Anyway what im saying is that i need some good Avatar for me.. can anyone help me here? Please?

RPG-RTS and FPS would be the 3 Id pick for forums. You want action/adventure get a console cause they live on that type of game. Specially game cube. Xbox and PS2 do offer the other types like FPS more so.

I like the consolidated game forum as well. Its cleaner to post to and lets you browse all game topics without having to bounce between forums.

I am sure from a moderators point of view, there is a lot less hassles for maintaining them (ie keeping the thread in the proper forum).

I'm a hardcore gamer, i guess. I play fps about 2hrs on weekdays, and about 5 on weekend days, I used to play Day of Defeat (v1.3, 2.1, 3.1), natural selection very haredcore almost 4hrs a day (until v.2 came out) then cs for a while (until steam came out), ut2003 pretty heavily, but now I play alot of halo (2-8hrs daily). I also play diablo 2 alot. I tend to play a game very heavily until it become inconvenient in some way and then do the same with another fps. I think Day of Defeat will always be the best first person shooter IMO, it started my love for fps and still I have alot of fun playing versions 1.3 and 3.1, hopefully DoD for half life 2 will feel the same as the old version.

NOTE: I use "cysus" as my name in all fps I play.
