Automated downloads?

Hey guys when ever i go to download something it does not let me specify the directory, it just automatically starts downloading to the temp folder how do i change this?

i know it's a stupid question but i forget where to go.

Maybe you should use a third party software such as Getright or Download Accelerator. This will help you out alot.
