UPS + Laser Printers...

I've noticed that a lot of UPS manuals state Laser Printers should not be plugged into them. Why is this? Does it only apply to larger corporate laser printers or does that include personal home laser printers?

Any laser printer will pull more amperage than the UPS can handle. My parent's laser is on the same circuit as the UPS and the UPS beeps every time the printer is turned on - creates a mini-brown-out on that circuit.
