Choosing software?

I have been lurking around for a bit and would like some input on what software is "best"? Photoshop? new 2 this = me

Any sites yous guys would recommend as examples of what can be accomplished with the software?

i assume you mean the best graphic editing???? then i would have to say photoshoppe but it is very expensive

Photoshop is the best, but it is not a "simple" program, but don't be scared off. Just keep playing with it, and you will learn. Our leader in this progran is OutPatient, I'm sure he can stear you right. In the meantime, here is a gallery of some of the best and their PS art.
