UPDATED 1 - Project case - First time Modder

This is my first attempt at modding a case, after seeing all the great case mods on here i decided it was time to dive in. I got this enlite case

This case came with nothing other than a few screws. I figured that would work great for me as i want to try as many things as i can without completely destroying the case

The first thing i did was design something for the side of the case, i had quite a few ideas but this is what i settled on...

After about 4 hours and 20 dremel cut off wheels it ended up looking pretty good. I am going to be doing some bondo work on the vent holes at the bottom of the case.

Next was a design for the top of the case. I have decided that i am going to have a window on the top of my case and a window on the top of my CD ROM. Here is what i decided to go with on the top of the case.

This only took about an hour to cut out, but it was hand drawn onto the case, that took the longest of all of it. I have quite a few more ideas that i am going to implement so stay tuned and let me know what you think!

I have progressed to modding my CD/RW/ DVD drive. I decided to stick somewhat with my flame style theme. This Cut out was a little tedious as it is the smallest cut out yet. I may also be adding an LED to the cd rom for better light in the CD Rom.

This is a work in progress, moe pictures to be added as the modding continues...

Nice cutouts.

Paint? Have you already decided on black? Planning on putting a fan on the top window (if it doesn't interfere with the top cdrom that is)?

So what are the planned system specs?

The flames on the side piece look real good.

Very clean...kudos.

Technique?

I agree with the blowhole fan idea, although the design is only going to allow for one above the CDROM bay....

Everything was cut out with a dremel.

The stealthed blow hole fits perfectly between the flames on the top of the case.

I will be painting the case metallica blue, the frame of the case will be yellow and the CD roms and floppy drive along with all cables will be orange.

I have recently cut the window for my CD Rom and now have a problem, after cutting the window out for the CD rom i powered it up and went to test it and now the CD rom will not open more than about 1 inch, any ideas?

Get a better camera
Looks nice, a lot better than I can do, I'm not an artistic person at all, and I'd be afraid to ruin the case if my hand slipped or something.
