Help config my network

Im gonna try and make this short.

2 Computers, 1 laptop.

Want a home network WITHOUT a router. I have 2 lan cards i found in garage, and 1 onboard Lan port.

I made my computer the gateway, and both computers connect through me.

I have an FTP that I would like to run on my laptop, BUT the ip's for ALL 3 computers in the house, are the same. So, if someone connects to the FTP, how in the world am I supposed to tell MY computer, the gateway, to forwards the ftp request somehow?

run ipconfig, release, renew on all computers

I forgot to add that my DSL modem (which I am connected to) is a router/modem.

solved it! yipee!



Windows DOES have it's own port forwarding, it's just hard to notice.

You might wanna delete that ip number in your pic, incase of any shady types browsing this forum

It's a private ip address.

go ahead and try to port scan that ip
