Problems with internet explorer 6

i have had error messeges when starting internet explorer:

1. Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

2. a error has occurred and explorer must close if these poblems continue restart your computer.

3. the instruction at "0x77f69d58" referenced memory at 0x6f727028 the memory could not be "read". click ok to terminate the program.

my neighbior gets the same errors n his comp i have installed all the updates from micosoft.com is there anything else i can do?

have you tried to repair IE?

have you tested your memory ?

To repair IE go to add/remove programs and click remove it will give you the option to repair select that.

You could also have a homepage hijacker that is not working as planned by the scum that wrote it. Run adaware and spybot.

I second the spybot and adaware suggestion. However a google for spybot has been bringing up fakes. Go to the home page here http://www.safer-networking.org/

Then try FireFox. Once you get to using tabbed browsing... ie will never feel the same...
