cordless phone and cordless mouse

should a cordless mouse interfere with a cordless phone? I seem to be having interference when I am near my desk especially with the speakerphone.?????????????

depends on the frequency of the phone and the mouse and anything else wireless in the house. most of the time by luck you dont buy anything with the same frequency, but just check the box.

Phone is 2.4 GHz. Would it probably help to get a 5.4?

just a general idea of frequencies... there should not be any interference between 2.4Ghz or 2.5Ghz. i am not a big mind on wireless products, so maybe somebody else'll have a better answer

I think there is an alternate frequency switch on your mouse, depending on who it is made by.

My MS mouse has one, but I've never had to use it. Imagine two people with their computer separated by a wall and working, each having the same mouse!
