Dell Dimension 2400- How much HD?

This is a different issue than my 120GB question, please leave 'em both open, mighty mods.

I can't find this info anywhere on Dell's site, or anywhere that google takes me. I remember when I got a 2350 last April Dell told me the biggest HD it could support was 160GB. I don't know if the 2400 is different. I've also read on Dell forums that they won't recognize anything above 137GB.. so would a partition solve that?

Too much info here, but it might help?: Through some great deals, I've got a 120GB HD and 2 160GB HD's. I can't imagine ever needing this much space (unless a true dvd copy can be made), but it'd be great to never have to worry. I'd like to install the 2 160GB's, keep the stock 30GB for when I sell the computer, and gift/sell the 120GB.

My question: Does anyone know how big is too big for a Dell Dimension 2400 to recognize?

It would not be 160gb, 137gb is the dividing point. If it is over 137gb than it will support larger drives then are currently sold. Likely look and see if the specs say ATA133 or not. If it is ATA133 it will support 160gb and much larger.

elroy- they're all ATA/133. So I could just install, format, partition, and it's all good?

Thanks for all the help!

Installed the 160GB with no problems, it's recognized without problems.. but it's loud! Anyone else experience this?
