nForce audio problem

I have an Nforce mobo and have installed the latest drivers but after i installed some windows updateds from the windows update site, the sound doesnt come out of the left speaker very well. It is barley audible and the reason i think it has something to do with the update is because they had a nvidia driver update or something like that and thats when it stoped working.

if anyone has experianced this and knows how to fix teh sound coming out of one side very weak and the other regular could you tell me...if not doe anyone know how to undo what i did when i installed the driver update from windows update?

You shoudl be able to uninstall the updated via add/remove programs.

Or you could just unisntall the device and reinstall the original driver

Have you tried reinstalling the Nvidia drivers?

Ive tried uninstalling all of the updates that it installed, reinstalled nvidia drivers and even using system restore a while before i did any of that and still the same problem?

Oh well i guess my monthly format has turned into a bi-daily one now...lol

Ouch, I don't get any of the nForce updates from Windows Update anymore... had nothing but problems. The one (and only) time I did, an audio driver rollback fixed it.
