Looking for a Laptop

Hey guys, I'm looking for a really good laptop. I need to know what, in your opinion, is the best brand of laptop. I also need to know if anyone knows of a website that has new ones for really good prices. I'm trying not to go over $1,000. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it.

the asus L5 is one of the best around avalible with a gefoece fx 5650go, or a ati 9600, also if you haven't heard the 9700 mobility is out so any system with that will rock.

Dells are great for the money...I really love toshibas too you may not be getting as good of a deal as a dell though but there are some for under 1000 just not as powerful
