Rdram in pairs or daughter board-no video????
when installing rdram is it an absolute that they be identical pairs-or can i install 128 in dimm 0 and 64 in dimm 1
i am using CRIMM's to fill dimm 1 then populating dimm 0 with the 128 on dimm 2 has 64 and dimm 3 has crimm, Reason says this would work we didn't cover RDRAM much in A+ so its kinda obscure to me...might help if i followed the instructions that came with mobo-but i don't have the modules to do it that way-unless i can do 128 and 64 in dimm 0 & 1 make sense?
this is an abit th7 raid by the way...with a 2.6 socket 478 (using a daughter board)....i get nothing on the screen...swapped vid cards no dice, pulled drives nada, its gotta be the rdram or the daughter board (which came with a bios upgrade disk but i'm not trying that yet) What say you ladies and gentlemen...cooked,use a socket 423 cpu, rdram must be installed in identical pairs or RTFMM ????
Thanks for you time and effort in responding,
David
