I play Final Fantasy XI and have since U.S. release. I enjoy it more than any other game to date and I have played many.

If FFXI is the game you adhore so much tell me why and I will be happy to share my opinion against yours....

im not a big rpg fan and never liked the original. i never tried any of the other ones because they didnt interest me and i am quite happy without them.

I'm kinda mixed on the subject, I LOVE FF VII. The progression of the story, the deep character relations, the materia system. It's a top notch game, I'm hoping the re-release it with updated graphics though. I also greatly enjoyed FF Tactics, mostly for the game play, can't remember for the life of me the storyline . I happen to hate 9 and 10. the stories got too boring so I dropped the controller and never picked it up again.

On the matter of everybody liking it is another matter. People tend to be biased for FF because it is Squares flagship title. I doubt anyone will budge Square from their throne of RPG's. It will take unbelievable talent from another company to do that.

You have to be a fan of RPG's to enjoy FF.
I played up through VII then picked up XI because I enjoy online games so much.

If your thing is first person shooters then any rpg will as you put it will suck.

u guys got me all wrong i love rpg love every rpg except ff i played it its just boring maybe its me but the only thing i did like about it was storyline brilliant

I like the FF games but i lose interest after a while. I dont know while but after a few weeks the games sorta fall away to the side. Its normally after an uber hard fight that is impossible ( to me )

I really liked them while i played them though. Maybe ill get that new one, when i feel the urge to play again. lol

Since that FF XI Got out.. it's officaly voted the best mmorpg (for PC) hell... in my opinion, i think its a LOT better than that EverQuest... FF XI have NO bugs, or whatever, which that i enjoy the most. That's all i got to say!! Sweet.. ya gotta watch yourself, your making some ppl angry or whatever!!
