Outdoors IE homepage setting changing with every logon

Recently everytime l logon to my Win2k Pro PC and start IE, the home page is set to alfa-search.com. I reset it and it stays changed until I log off and log back on. Then alfa-search.com is again the home page. I checked the registry and removed all references to alfa-search.com and ran both ad-aware and spybot. I also checked the run setting in the registry and the starup folder and removed anthing that I did not understand, but it still happens.

What gives? I find this so irriating that I will never use alfa-search.com for anything and so the effort on their part backfired.

Any idea how to stop this from happening? I though about deleting my profile and creating a new one, but that will create other problems for me and is last option.

Thanks for the help.
