Ram Drives

So heres the quandry, Got a MotherBoard that can only adress 512mb of ram. The board has 1 gig installed how can i adress the extra 512 as a Virtual Ram Drive?

While I'm not a mothewrboard expert, I think you are out of luck.
I think the 512Mb limit is a physical limitation of the memory bus. You might consider a better mobo...why do you need 1Gb anyway?

If it's not addressable, it's not usable, as arjay13 indicated. Sorry... motherboard memory bus limit... SOL

Regarding why you "need" 1 gb ram... couple reasons off the top of my head where 1gb ram would certainly come in handy....
Load entire OS into ram, avoiding disk reads, pagefile access
Photo/image manipulation
OCR imaging
DVD, CD burning
Code compiling
CAD/CAM
Transaction server
Database server
Can these things be done without a lot of ram... sure, but they'll run slower.
