Are you using NView from Nvidia?
And is the TV already connected with the cable provided with your video card?
Also, try to download the TVTool Utility.

nview, if you mean the goldish/whiteish nvidia icon which runs in memory then yeah but i still dont seen an option for tv out. actually, i have to hook this card up in a friends system (doing fantasy drafts from the computer on the tv) and sadly i seem to have lost my s-video out cable so i cant even test it here at home!!!! according to him, he has a cable.
i have to check into the tv tool utility and try to locate it. i was kinda hoping you wouldnt even need to change a setting like i can just hook it up to the tv and the video will appear on the screen, no manipulation needed.

If you start the computer with only the tv hooked up into the tv out, and there is no monitor or other device hooked into the VGA port, then it should automatically start up and display on the TV.
The TV out settings are greyed out, unless there is a TV or some other composite TV device hooked up to the card at time.
You can get to the settings by right-clicking on the desktop and select "properties". Then, "Settings" tab. Click the "Advanced" button. Then select your "GeForce xxxx" tab. Once you click that, there should be a little box on the left of the dialog box that comes up. There should also be a "nView" option just under the first entry in that list.

I edited the post, but then figured I better bump it so you knew I added the info. Oh well, trying to not increase my post count, but what can ya do?
Dave
EDIT: Here's a screenshot when I unplug my TV cable:
I said "greyed out" but in the newer drivers that i just got, it changes the settings title to "TV Settings" when there's no TV wire plugged in.

all you have to do is connect the cable to the s-video port, even if the computer is on. right click on the desktop, properties--> settings tab--> advanced--> GeForce4 Ti4200 tab--> nview display mode--> under the "nview mode" pull down, select: clone.
(using driver v53.03)
HTH
EDIT: davidamarkley beat me to it. I guess we were posting at the same time.

Yay! I actually beat someone(no offense)!! You see, normally I'm the one that types so much, and am a perfectionist of sorts, so I always have to read back through the post for spelling and stuff and by that time someone(or something three or four people) have already replied to the thread starter and answered his question. I think I know how RobRich feels though, as far as always typing everything like it's for a news story or something.
See what I mean though? You said what I said in one little post, and it took me two with screenshots...
Just let us know how it turned out, SD...

thanks for all the info, im now using the 52.16's and i dont have the same menus as you but that might be because i dont have a tv hooked up at the moment..
im gonna hook this up tonight at his house and ill let you know how it goes, should be fine. heres a shot anyhow. all hail post bumping.........ha, j/k
edit: all went fine. i didnt need to change any settings as posted, just hook it up. unfortuanltey for him, the picture on the 50" projection looks pretty crappy but its doable.
if it was an HD tv with maybe a better cable, it would probably get a nice crisp pic
