Easy, connect the hub to the router.
One of the ports needs to be set to "uplink" which is sometimes selectable on one device or the other. If they cannot be set to uplink, you will need to buy whats called a "crossover" cable to connect the two. Some newer routers are "auto-sensing" which means they automatically sense if a crossover is needed at any port and makes whatever port requires a crossover into an "uplink" port automatically.
Just to make myself clear, a crossover is needed to connect two "like" devices, such as two computers to eachother without a hub, or two routers/hubs/switchs to eachother (Using two routers together is not recommended, but one router and any number of hubs/switchs is alright). You can either get a crossover cable, which crosses over physically within the cable, or you can set one side to uplink, which crosses over the send/recieve lines in that port so it works with "like" devices.
The lights for a port will not light up if the wiring is incorrect, so if the port on the hub and the router light up on the ports were you link them, your good to go.
