Kids new mobo with older cpu

I order a new mobo about a week ago and havnt the money to buy a cpu(yet). I was wondering if my old chip will work on my new mobo once i get some new ddr ram.

No, you have to wait like me. I have a new MSI board waiting in the wings until I get a p4 Northwood. That board won't support the Celeron (same CPU I have)

=( although im using some of the parts from the new board on my comp right now. USB, the rounded cables. At least im getting some good of the board
