Please be so kind to delete one of your files and

You should never distribute software of any kind with out the consent of the author.

If you see something you like and want others to take advantage of it then give them the website and let them go get it. By doing this you allow the perspective user to see what the authour has to say about the software, any disclaimers, future enhancements and if the user likes it then they will be able to contribute to the authour funds to help them develope their product better.

jman, this is an old proggie made in 1996.It is useful, but there is no longer a place to D/L it from.No e-mail addy nothing. It was installed on an old system I got the other day,and I would like to make it availible to others.

Maybe I'll have to snail mail him,and ask.

jman01pa: "You should never distribute software of any kind with out the consent of the author."

I'm sorry jman01pa, programs I've made have a oneliner license:

"Feel free to copy, move, change and delete this software/code without any consent from author."

Programs considered shareware, freeware, postcardware or any other kind of *ware except software can be pretty much copied at will. Most ppl dont want their programs to be hosted on sites without permission, but copying, emailing etc is fine.

To be sure read the license file that prolly came with the proggy.

Also keep in mind jman01pa that some ppl dont have internet access. In fact this is how the shareware license got started.

I agree. I think that most programs out there (shareware, freeware, etc.) allows you to copy it and distribute freely but always giving props to the author and support also, so I think beggarware should be the same. Me thinks.

BTW, what does the software does? (me interested to know! lol)
