For some the Giant II goes in the way of some small motherboard components.

For both you have to watch the distance between your AGP slot and your RAM slots. The Zalman takes up 2 additional PCI slots and the Tt takes up 1. I'm using the Tt and yes it does allow for good cooling for the CORE but it does't do a thing for the memory. But the memory on my card (Infinion) doesn't clock very high regardless. That Zalman looks like it would be a strain on the AGP card....

I have the Zalman. I does take up almost 2 pci slots, but I can fit my Santa Cruz sound card underneath in the 2nd pci slot. The cooler is nice, but as Sweeper says about the Giant, the Zalman also does not do a thing for the ram. If you get some low profile ramsinks, they can fit under the Zalman on your card on the "top" side only. As far as cooling, the is a 2-3 degree drop on the core temp, so it is a little better than stock.

The weight of this cooler is a bit scary when you first feel it, but it really didn't bend the vid card down or anything.

I also have a 5600. It sucks with or without the Zalman cooler (for me anyway... crappy Leadtek). It was labled as an "Ultra" and I can barely get it to ultra speeds. Oh well, my Gainward 5950 is on the way soon!
