It is hard to help you until you tell us what the scan tells us...

you may also want to try an online scan here http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Could it be spyware also?
Try downloading and running SpyBot and AdAware.
Also, try downloading the free version of AVG antivirus (One of the best if not the best) and running it.

I would try www.grisoft.com and grab the AVG free version, and d/l the updates, and then scan again, also www.lavasoftusa.com and try adaware.Never can be too safe about these things.

I had a virus a couple of days ago,and finally found it when I installed sygate, which is also freeware from www.sygate.com
I like it better than zonealarm, but it's just an opinion
But I found out that you really need a firewall....the hard way.

thank you sooo much i had the mydoom virus. The PC Cillin didnt pick up on it because you had to buy the software in order to get the update. I am planning on build a comp soon so i will be spending some money on antivirus software packages along with firewalls and that kinda stuff any suggestions. Thank you sooo much again, i would be up shi* creek without a paddle if it werent for you.

honestly i wouldnt spend money on AV software. In my opinion it can be better spent. You can get free Av proggies such as AVG and avast! and even some free firewalls. The way i see it theres no reason to spend that money, unless your running a business or important website or something. just my $0.02
