I suggest you just use AVG for your antivirus.
With the free edition you get much more than with paying soft like Norton, PcCillin, etc...

I would also get the Sygate firewall ASAP.It's a very good program for a freebie,IMO

You can find Symantec's "Norton's Systemworks 2003" for less than $30, sometimes for less than $20. You'll get Norton AV (with 1 year updates incl), plus you get Ghost (great for doing backups, etc.) and the Norton Utilities (some components are somewhat usable... not the primary driver to buy this bundle, IMO).

Recommend do not get SW2004... it has caused many people severe system slowdowns.

I also use ZA Pro (patched to latest) on our little home network.

But Norton = Bloatware!
I have never ever liked Norton because they just install so much stuff and make your system so freaking slow (not to mention the problem these norton packages usually give).
Norton = blah.!

That's why you select "custom install" and only install NAV and Ghost
