I cant open a folder!

I have Win XP installed and i had Pc Security installed protecting my "My Documents" folders so noone can access the folder before supplying a password. I had some problems with windows and i had to reinstall it but i kept my files intact (I created a second folder called windows2 for the second installation). So now at startup i choose between 2 "Windows xp". The problem is that i am not able to access the folder "My Documents" that was protected. I installed Pc Security again and locked the folder then unlocked but it didn't work. How can i fix the problem and btw the problem is from pc security or from the fact that i was an administrator on the other installation and i am not allowed to access the "old me" user "my documents" folder? Thanks.

What error does it say?
You might be able to take ownership of the folder and change the security settings.

But, if pc security uses some other crypting stuff, they might be inaccessible for good.
