Kids Where does it go?

I'm wanting to use this fan controller and temp monitor

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...pa=0&section=3

and there are these 4 thermostat wires with flat copper ends
that the booklet says hook to the heatsink fan!!
Does that sound right?
The manual looks like it written in broken english so it hard to understand.
Does anybody have any idea?

see this link and go to "MANUAL" and see the illustration that i am talking about

Thanks or any input

You can attach the sensor next to the heat source you want to monitor.

Like Taping it to the circuit board CPU on a vid card, or wedge it in the base of a heat sink.

The white wires are the heat sensors, report tems within + 2 degrees of the motherboard BIOS.

Duct tape is probably best. It is made to be resisant to heat, as it is really used to seal AC/Heating ducts.

Just need a small piece, and make sure the board is clean.

It even comes in colors now!
