Ideas on the next graphics competition?
Any ideas on what our next graphics competition subject should be?

It needs to be something that can be accomplished by the experienced and the amateur graphics artist. So far logos have fit the bill because often the simplest is the best.

Should we just continue with logos?

To refresh your memories, the first competition was to make a logo for a fictional game company. The second was to make a logo for TIMO.

I just want to hear your ideas. The next competition will be announced Friday 2-27 (pending mod approval of course).

well since all the prizes were tees, how bout a tshirt design contest?!

yeah!!! tshirt design~!!! we can make a standarized .fla/photoshop template or something for everyone to design on.

sounds fresh
we can have like umm....imaginary clothing name...and go from there

tee design is pretty much like a smack-dab logo in the center, except u have a shape to work on

Been following the contests with interest, and voting.

I am just starting with photo editing, and may join the fun.

Is a (small) amimated GIF to restrictive? I really enjoy Out and the guys work, especially the just for fun ones.

Just a thought Aaron_J, could you run the contest for 2 weeks instead of 1? It would give time for more people to see it [looks like Out almost missed the last one] and quite often it can take hours to do just one logo and some of us do have another life

How about another involving TechIMO...logo manipulation. Object being to take an existing and well known logo and make it promote TechIMO instead of it's original product. Like this contest at Worth1000.

And remember, this is parody so copyright infringement is not an issue.

With the myriad of entries in the current contest I think it would be a good idea to have a runoff vote of the top 3 or 4 vote getters if you have as many entries next time.
