Gaming Frequent BSODs and Errors

Explorer keeps giving me an error message and forces itself to close so I don't have much time. It saves a document on the error in a location that I can't find.

Furthermore I keep getting BSODs out of nowhere stating some thing like IRQ_NOT_LESS_THAN_EQUAL or something like that, they flash by too quick to jot down, and I never see them coming HELP!

In this order, I'd check the HDD and then RAM.

You can get Memtest86+ for the RAM and check the mfr's website for your HDD.

Do you know what brand HDD you have?

A Maxtor 40GB and a WD 25GB.

OS is on the WD and the Maxtor is used basically for storage. Had comp for abit with basically no probs but now I can barely use it....Well I can as long as I'm not playing a game or browsing I can use it. I'll try memtest and see what I get.

Next thing I'd check is your temps. Had a guy w/ similar probs, brought the computer home to my house and opened it. It looked like a garden in there w/ so much dirt. Blew it out, no more probs

There ya go, try the easiest one first. Overheating is often overlooked.

If that doesn't solve it, try PowerMax for the Maxtor and/or Data Lifeguard for the WD.

Just had another BSOD I caught some of the more prominent Text it said BAD_POOL_CALLER. I let it reboot normally and I got a message saying this system has recovered from a serious error. I Clicked the more info button and this is what I got.

Error signature

BCCode: c2 BCP1: 00000007 BCP2: 00000CD4 BCP3: 00000004
BCP4: E1F38E20 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 1_0 Product: 256_1

I have no idea what that means....I hope one of you does. Please?
