i am getting this message

your system administrator disabled the display control panel . when ever i want to go to display

i had this before and i know it is somekind of virus in my comptuter


can someone help me plz

i have seen it somewhere before that happened to someone and that you had to do some changes in the registry and it worked but i dont remember how to.

You are logged in as administrator and you still get this?
If you are not an admin, it's probably a policy taking effect.
Log as admin and check your policies.

yes i am the the administrator and i did not change anything and i am the only user.
i am using xp home

for the heck of it..run adaware...maybe it is some evil spyware (I doubt it but may as well eliminate that possibility)

www.lavasoftusa.com get the free version..update it, run it.

Otherwise it sounds like something one of those custimization/registry hack utilities would do.

Probably just a registry thing which can be undone.


You have no clue how it happened?? Did you install anything before you noticed it?

Could it possibly be related to some video card software? Got a new vid card lately??

well i think it is was something from kazaa
it usualy stops any virus scan and also zone alarm and it is something to do with registry . but i cant remember
