Chez is on a distinguished road
New to the Laptop Scheme

Let me tell u what situation I'm in first so maybe u guys can understand where I'm coming from. I'm going to buy a gaming rig in about 3-4 months and I just want to get something that has proven itself that it will be worth every penny. Thing is I want a gaming rig that will last, I'd have no problem upgrading the graphics card every 2 years or so if needed but I want to be able 2 play games like Doom 3 and anything that will come out in 2 years that will demand performance because I want HIGH framerates, currently I have an HP and while I've upgraded it I can't get over 40 frames in Planetside!

Now I just described all the things I want that I could easily find in a desktop, from companies like Ibuypower, Voodoo, ALienware and ABS. However because I want a system to last for a good time *I dont want to have to keep buying PC's like I do now, the one I have is like 2-3 years old* I'm looking at who can make a kick ass laptop that will be upgradable because when I go off to college I want that mobility but I also want that gaming power. I know gaming laptops are quiet new but thats why its good I'm buying in like 3 months because then I hope they'll come out with something that'll fit my solution. I guess I'd like to know what u guys think of my situation, maybe tell me some of the intensive frame rates you guys get and if gaming laptops would be worth buying. Again I wouldn't have a problem upgrading the video card as long as the system allows it.
