First attempt to build a computer !!

I've had computers for a long time, but this is the first I'm building. I'm running into a lot of questions because the manuals are somewhat vague at times.

If any of you can help me as I go through the steps and post problems, I would appreciate it.

Here's background on the system. I'll post some questions afterwards.

Antec PLUS660AMG Mini-Tower

Abit NF7-S nForce 2 SPP AMD Socket A ATX Motherboard
w/S-ATA, 8xAGP, 6CH, Lan, U2, 1394

AMD AthlonXP Desktop 2800+ Socket A Model 8 CPU 333MHZ FSB Barton

Thermaltake Volcano 9 Cooler

512K Crucial 184-pin DIMM Memory

ViewSonic E90F 19" PerfectFlat CRT Monitor

LG Electronics 4x DVD +/- RW Model #GSA-4040B

Asus V9280 VS GeForce 4 Ti4200-8x 128 MB DDR AGP 8x Video Card

Not a bad setup, I personaly do not like the CPU HSF, I would look into the Gigabyte 3d Cooler, or something from Thermalright.
Also do not forget thermal grease like Arctic Silver.
One more thing,
You may want to get a second case fan if your case does not have 2.

The motherboard manual says

"Connectors, Headers and Switches"

SMB1: System Management Bus Header
Am I supposed to plug something into this header?

USB1 and USB2 Headers
I have two power pins. The headers are called VCC0 and VCC1. Are those the correct headers to plug the power pins into? That's all that's left, other than Data and Ground (GND).

Thanks for the quick replies (even before I posted my first question). I did use Arctic Silver. I'll check out the links, too. Thank you all.

SMB is for networks that an administrator can monitor/ manage the computers remotely. you don't need it.

USB headers are not standard. This question comes up a lot. do a search, there were some good diagrams in those old threads.

I found a reference to VCC0 in the Antec manual. Those do refer to the power.
