Cable Service Provider

Ok, i am right outside of chicago, illinois and i was wondering waht the best isp is for cable internet. i could just go with comcast but i have heard mixed reviews about them so i want to see if there are any other options availiable. i dont need installation or anything i can do that myself. the three thing i am considering are....

1. time till activation (asap )

2. $50 a month give or take

3. as fast as i can get (i think comcast is 3 mbps in my area now)

oh and some email accounts too

Cable is cable IMO. If you're going to have problems then you're going to have problems.
