How to test my server?

Does anyone know of a tool with which I could test my Linux/Apache server from within my own Intranet?

I need to know if public users are getting in the ports I've set-up.

There has got to be a way.
(Besides doing it from outside)

Thanks,
John.

Do you at least have another PC on the network?

If so just connect to it from there...
That will still test your public (anonymous) access.

That will not tell you if your ISP has your webport blocked (not uncommon), or if your router ports are forwarded correctly.

Yeah, what vass said. You have to try it from outside to see if users from there can see it. No other way than to ask someone to check it out for you or do it yourself from somewhere else.

OK, I knew that . . .
My network has 4 boxes. I create/test all the time, but yes, it is a bit of a drag having to always ask someone to try it.
(or wait till I GoTo work!)

Thought someone might have a site setup to bounce back or something.
Might be a worthy project no?

Thanks,
John.
