computer turns on then off...

Everything was working at first, no problems whatsoever, i shut down to install another stick of ram, and after sticking it in, and pressing the power button the computer turns on for less than a second and immediately turns itself off.

All the fans are working, lights all turn on, i tried switching power supplies, did the exact same thing. Pulled out the stick of ram and it did the same thing, tried different combinations of ram and it did the same thing.

I'm yet to pull out every single card and test with just the essentials, i dont think this is a power issue, because it WAS working perfectly just before, please tell me that this isnt a Mobo issue...

Suggestion:

Pull out everthing but the working stick of ram, video card and see if it starts. If that doesn't work reset the CMOS with the jumper on the Motherboard. Last but not least (lets hope you didn't have any static discharge )

you might want to try reseating all your cards. If not, Sweeper might be right about static discharge Could be also that the ram had a electric fault in it, and (cover your ears) maybe shorted something?
