6 Pin Firewire plug?

I have a case with a convenient firewire jack on the front and a cable inside designed to connect to a motherboard (similar to many USB's). This cable has individually marked wires with small plugs. Unfortunately, my motherboard has no such pin connectors so I've added a PCI firewire card. The card has a 6 pin socket "inside" the case. I need a 6 pin firewire plug to add to the existing cable to allow it to plug into my firewire card.

Is that clear?

Anyone know where I can get a 6 pin firewire plug? It would be very spiffy for loading MP3's on my Nomad.

Any help would be appreciated.

are you sure the other pins arn't grounds and such]

also if your mp3 player is supported usb2.0 is accually faster than firewire

I've been able to locate a diagram for the pins on a 6 pin firewire plug. HeadBand is correct in that they also come in a 4 pin variety.

As for the USB 2.0 comment, I have my USB's tied up with other devices. You might be interested to note that (in spite of the specs) firewire does transfer faster than USB 2.0, at least for my application.
