OC question

ok im taking a 2200 xp to a 2400 with standard stock amd HS/fan im doing this on a msi 6367 K7N420 Pro motherboard. the problem is when i adjust the fsb it adjust the agp bus as well, i can run it smooth at 1900mhz core (2300XP?) 140fsb/280mem/70agp but when i get it up tho the next setting its fine till i start a game then a get a blue screen on windows xp. any other fsb setting higher than that one system dont start. so i assume its cause the next setting the agp bus is 71 or 72 mhz and is just to fast for that onboard gf2, but is there a way around that like a newer card in the agp slot? Or that i maybe overheating the northbridge cause it runs at 73c idle while the cpu is at 41-44c

i also have made no changes in the Vcore either, dont know how to determine if i need to or not its at 1.6 now so if someone knows it might need to be higher let me know.

system
2200xp (1800mhz core) oc'd to 1900mhz (trying to achieve 2000mhz)
Msi 6373 K7N420 Pro
256mb ddr 2100
WD 120Gb HDD

Is there some sort of "divider" setting? Like 1/3 or 1/4? I'm looking on MSI's site now for the mobo manual to see if it shows any.

EDIT - I didn't see anything except your CPU/MEM/AGP settings. Your video card is probably the problem. I'd say you could probably trying upping the vCore a bit if you're able, but I don't think you can change it.

W/ that mobo, you're probably about max for an OC.

Well the next step would be to unlock the multiplier on the cpu so that you can go up on the multiplier and back down on the fsb.

I suppose there are several ways to unlock em..here is an adapter that will do it.
