Outdoors D link problem with cable modem

I have a d link 614+ and i just started losing connections. I have had it for a few years. The only thing that has been changed is my DMZ to let my PC out for gaming. Im with Time Warner (sucks overpriced) Cable and I cant figure it out. I have the latest firware but the I keeping losing connection. Time warner can ping me just fine but my connection is lost randomly. If I unplug my network and go str8 to one PC im okay.
