Flame Tutorial?

i been seeing ppl making flames and when i go to talking to em, they said they used the Pen tool, and is very hard to explain, could anyone explain how to do this ?

Souja, don't even bother looking a "flames tutorial". You just need to go over a few basic Pen Tool tutorials. Once you know how to use the Pen Tool simple flames like this will be no problem to make yourself.

Geeze OuT, is it just me, or is the pen tool a bear to learn. Took me almost 2 hours just to do these "simple" flames. Your's look really good. This is the first time I have EVER used the pen tool. Any tips?

thats the exact flame but man.. its a pain with a pen tool, i go this way it just messes up the whole thing already.. ARG
