audit policies--event viewer corrupted

hi friends,

i have a problem inside the computer managment. my event viewer is corrupted. at application and system i get an error: log is corrupted. at system it shows a key and it write down: success audit with time,date , source ( security), policies change 612, system. at microsoft i found the information that someone changed my audit policies. where are they located and how can i change it back.
i checked virus, spyware etc. but i didn't find anything.

Audit policies can be found here:
Start Menu -> Run... -> secpol.msc

(You can also get to them from:
Start Menu -> Run... -> gpedit.msc )
