if my understanding is right...........and it might not be.........hibernation is just like switching off.........except that when you switch on again those apps that you were running will be present on your desktop in the state that you left them.
your mouse and keybord like mine.........(with some letters missing).........have the option enabled that allows them to bring your pc out of
standby
trygo to control panel--mouse--hardware--properties--power management, and you'll see what i mean
