dvd burner wont read some files

i have a verbatim dvd burner and when i go to back up a dvd it say there is a cyclic redundancy check and it failed to read the file. it also wont verify the burning when done any help would ne appreciated thanks.by the way my dvd rom reads it all just fine..my burner used to..

Try it in a different drive. Sometimes the disk may have a scratch that certain drives can't get past.

I had the Plextor 708A and was doing the same thing.

I tried backing up DVD with: CloneDVD, DVDxCopy Platinum and Express, DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, DVD cloner....

and all of them gave me errors on reading.

I sent the Plextor back for RMA.
