IE troubles

When I open IE from scratch I am fine. But if I click on a link within a link it only opens a 1 inch by 1 inch window that I have to maximize every time. I am using WinXP if that matters. Not sure which IE I have but it must be the latest.

Any Ideas

Dave

don't maximize, when it opens the 1x1 window use the resize thing on the bottom right corner to get it the size you want, then maximize and close...IE remembers the sizes of the last window in each state...if it doesn't work the first time, try it a few times

Not sure what that is but I have tried manually dragging it to size and the maximize button and IE doesn't seem to remember how it last was.

IE Troubles

This happens to me from time to time, seems to me after I've done a Windows Update.

Like other posters said, don't use the maximize button at all, drag the window to full size with mouse. And the tip I read elsewhere on doing this said to hold down the control button before hitting the "x" to close window. When you re-open, should be full size again. Must be a fluke in browser, happens from time to time lately.
