need help with s-video (by 4pm :-!)

Hi, I currently have my tv connected using coax regular cable line coming from my cable box, and I just bought a s-video cable, since my tv has s-video in, and the cable box has s-video out. Im currently at work (in a mall, which is connected to target), I leave at four. Anyways, I was wondering, since im gonna be replacing my coax with svideo, how is audio going to be transferred? Do I need to pick up a extra set of rca cables for the red and white audio connectors? Both my tv and cable box has all the inputs and outputs you could ask for, I just need to know what to get. Do I need more cables for the audio to work? or does that run through s-video? (im sure it dosent). Please any help would be appreciated...

You will need the red and white rca cables for the audio. s-video doesnt transfer audio.

audio does not run through the s-vid cable. you can either buy new cables for audio, or you can just leave your audio portion connected of your current cables. typically the triple cables are yellow, red and white.....video, right and left audio. you can just unplug the video cable and leave everything else connected. plug in the s-video cable and you'll be fine.

I dont have current cables, all I have plugged in is the coax in the back of the tv (well, besides the ps2). But anyways, I went down to target and picked up a dual rca audio cable (6ft). Its just the red and whites. I should be ready to go right? go my svideo and a spare rca set.
