X-Drives

Recently a relative of mine was visiting. He had something called an X-Drive to store all the digital images he had taken on his camera. It was basically a memory card reader with a hard drive. I had never seen anything like this. Ever since they were here (back in July of '03) I have been searching for something similar. To this day I have not found it. Does anybody know of other similar devices? They seem like great ideas for long trips where lots of pictures will be taken. In the UK we can get them for about £200
